| Reading List | Email Me Three Books That Changed My Life
Things happen in your life for a reason. There is an old saying, that when the student is ready, the teacher will appear. Each of the books above appeared for me at crtical times in my life. Illusions was first, and had the most profound effect on me of any book I've ever read. Illusions single handedly altered my philosophy on life forever. It is wonderfully simple and mysteriously complex all in the same breath, and in my 53+ years of life to date, Illusions is the first and only book that I bought -- numerous copies -- for the sole purpose of giving it to others who I felt could comprehend it. It is a life changing book, in my opinion... if you can absorb it. Unlimited Power is next, and I quote Tony Robbins a lot. Unlimited Power is not a book about having power over other people, it is a book about gaining power over yourself. Self Mastery is it's purpose and it is an awesome, thought provoking vehicle for that. If you're ready to make a change in your life... Unlimited Power is a must read book, in my opinion. 7 Habits of Highy Effective People is the third anchor, and contributes something even different than the other two, and illustrates it's principles with crystal clarity. There is one story in the book -- one statement -- that I credited with holding my last marriage together for the first 7 years. One story.. one statement ... that was so profound for me... that it's stuck with me for nearly 20 years. I'll share it with you, with the caveat that out of context, it won't have near as much meaning: The statement is this: "You can't talk your way out of something that you behaved your way into." Those are the three books I attribute to changing my life. And that's real. Click here to view the full list (to date) -- and nothing but the list.. Have an AWESOME day...
